Färgprakt i hemmet

Jag var på ett riktigt färgsprakande mingel där Designers Guild och Ralph Lauren var kvällens värdar. Jag gillar färger, men mitt hem är väldigt neutralt och nedtonat med naturens färger. Kanske jag vågar på med lite mera färg nu när vi ska renovera vardagrummet....fast å andra sidan en neutral bas och massa tyger i färg passar fint..

I do like colors, but my home is very neutral with colors from the nature.

Perhaps Im brave enough to do some changes now when we redoing our livingroom...

Snygga kombinationer..fåse hur mycket jag själv vågar nu när vi ska renovera vardagsrummet...meeeen antar jag köra vit bas..å piffar med kuddar ;)

Teen Bedroom ideas

Here is a Sneak Peak of my son Philips NEW bedroom

I have papered one of the walls with this black and white wallpaper.

Philip like interior design and have chosen the wallpaper himself.

Wall opposite the stripes will have a wallpaper with motiv with BIG compass.

he wanted a sophisticated  theme that was not so marin..

therefore the color is in black,brown,grey and silver. 

In the begining of the renovation...

My working table in the Kitchen

Philips bedroom befor..well I have just paint the walls with white color..

before they were bright blue and striped red and white wallpaper

His boy bedroom was like a giant american flag :))

I will show you pictures of that as well It was beautiful ..

but nothing for a teen..you know..

I like to play with contrast, therefore I have divided the wall with a decorlist and added the wallpaper crosswise

its really messy..but its fun :))

Castles,Crowns & Treasures

My darling readers, let me tell you something about

our country Sweden.

We have beautiful Castles ,Mansions and estates which originated several hundred years back in time. Thoose magnificeant houses are really treasures.

 I love visit our castles where our royalty have lived, 

I can almost hear their living from the past.

The castle´s newly awakening

Svartsjö Castle was built in the 1730´s as a royal summer palace.With Svartsjo Castle introduced the architect Carl Harleman Rococo in Sweden and Svartsjö became a model for Swedish country house architecture. 

After years of abandonment the castle has been renovated to its former glory.

The National Property Board undertook a renovation of the castle which lasted for 8 years.
under the direction of the palace architect Helena Tallius Myhrman

The Castle has wonderful detalils like this ornament..

 ..and this beautiful century -old floor

The Castle during the summer months has the most beautiful exhibition of paintings,furnitur,carpets and handcraft,well worth a visit. At the Cafe they serve French delicacies.

Slottet arrenderas av Stina Odlinder Haubo,hon är konstvetare och välrenomerad expert på antika möbler, med en bakgrunf från Nationalmuseum och Kungl,Husgeråds-kammaren. Författare till böcker du kan läsa om här

Utställningar på Svartsjö slott 2011,

Under sommarmånaderna är slottet öppet där rummen har olika utställningar med vackra tavlor,möbler, keramik, fotografier, mattor..

I slottscafet serveras franska delikatesser.

Classic Style bedding & bath

So Classic and vintage at the same time, I like this bed..

so romantic and take you back in history..

In this bed I should prefere just white pillows with some

silver and gold details,that matches the beautiful wallpaper

and the treeornament details at the bed .

...adorable sheeps in the middle..

I think is guit ordinary to have a painting with a rooster

in the bedroom..for me is more kitchen or diningroom
